The antique origins of the linens, paired with their handmade evolution, ensure each cloth is one-of-a-kind and carries a nostalgic, old-world energy. Compliment your magical workings with one of these special works of art, use them for resting your rare books, or hang them on the wall like a tapestry! As signatures of Poison Apple Printshop, these unique altar cloths are the perfect addition to any altar, tarot spread, vanity, or sacred space!
Features original artwork entitled The Earth Pentacle, drawn and screen printed by Adrienne Rozzi.
The Earth Pentacle is one of Adrienne's more practice-based works for those of you who work with planets as well as 5 base metals in alchemy. At the heart of the pentagram is the symbol for our earth, it is a quartered circle to represent the 4 elements that are the building blocks of our earthly energies. In the surrounding points are the symbols for sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars. In alchemy, these planetary symbols equate to the base metals of gold, silver, mercury, copper, and iron, respectively. This altar cloth is perfect for the practitioner working with these heavenly bodies!
'Olive Grove' is a hand dyed color of olive, pine, and mossy dark green hues with variations. Screen printed with white ink, overlaid with silver leaf in a special technique developed by the artist. This unique linen features scalloped edges and an embroidered flower in one corner.
Measures approximately 15.5" x 16.5" (inches)
