Add a touch of magical elegance to your sacred space with a one-of-a-kind altar cloth from Poison Apple Printshop! My signature altar cloths start as vintage linens handpicked from various antique stores throughout my travels. They are hand dyed in small batches and screen printed here in the printshop, transforming each from a drab, forgotten remnant into a unique and functional work of art. The antique origins of the linens, paired with their handmade evolution, ensure each cloth is one-of-a-kind and carries a nostalgic, old-world energy. Compliment your magical workings with one of these special works of art, use them for resting your rare books, or hang them on the wall like a tapestry. As signatures of Poison Apple Printshop, these unique altar cloths are the perfect addition to any altar, tarot spread, vanity, or sacred space!
Features original artwork by Adrienne Rozzi entitled Vespertina. This artwork features the visionary poisonous plant, Datura, as well as a knot of serpents holding planetary seals in their fangs. Both Datura and serpents are known as symbols pertaining to psychic energy, boundaries, and strength. As an ouroboros, the snake also represents wholeness and time. I designed this drawing to function as an aid in daily rituals and personal practices. With the planetary seals for each day of the week exhibited in a circle, this is to prompt a more dedicated daily practice and make a distinct space where crystals or talismans may be charged for a whole seven days. There are infinite ways to use this altar cloth, so feel free to get inventive and utilize the symbols in accordance to your own practice. The pentagram in the center and flanking crescent moons create more options to allow you to expand upon your planetary or daily practice.
Hand dyed black with gold ink. This unique altar cloth features beautiful floral cutwork lace and embroidery.
